Do you want to make good use of your summer? RHSP may be for you?
Objective: Give students from rural backgrounds that have an interest in becoming health professionals a head start in the college preparation they will need for admission to all health professional schools.
Who Should?: Any student interest in becoming a health care professional
Dates: June 6- July 9, 2010
Location: Campus of UA
Qualifications: Completed 11th grade, Have a "B" average, Earned at least a 21 ACT with writing, Reside in a rural community, Resident of Alabama at least 5 years.
Program Cost: Tuition, room and meals will be provided at no cost to participants. If selected, there will be a $35.oo application processing fee.
College Credit: Students are able to take two college courses (Chemistry and Creative Writing) at no academic risk. A student who earns an "A, B or C" in each course will be awarded credit.
